In addition there has also been lots of painting going on and the children returned to some wonderful displays, that had been worked on by our artist Miss Nurse. These have certainly engaged the children, with many positive comments being heard down the corridors!
Equally, the art work serves to reinforce some of the key messages that are such an important aspect of our ethos.
Our lighthouse theme in particular is very important to us and as we start the new term we are once again reminded of Jesus call to be lights in our world.
In addition one of our key bible verses that we reminded ourselves of constantly is that God promises to be with us always, so we have added the verse from Joshua 1 v 9 to strategic parts of the school, just to help us remember.
We are all looking forward to another excellent term.
And finally a reminder to all of us in the main entrance that what we do makes a difference every day.
