We had all joined together to back the blues on Friday and today there was a wave of celebration and jubilation throughout the school. An amazing achievement and something to make everyone in the city proud.
But also not to be pushed into the background and forgotten was the wonderful success of another Leicester player - that of Mark Selby in the world snooker championship. An amazing double victory.
Our Friday assembly included a raffle of blue's memorabilia to raise funds for the school - a source of great excitement in Friday assembly.
Certainly a day to celebrate - we even had dancing in the playground!
