A celebration of success

A celebration of success

Friday 6th May 2016

We thought that it would be great to celebrate the success of Leicester City and Mark Selby and the many successes that we have celebrated as a school together, by having a day of celebration on Friday.

This will enable the whole school community to celebrate the great sporting achievements of the weekend, but also to reflect on individual success, what motivates us and who inspires us.

Our theme of celebration will suggest that the whole school community can express their celebration of success in any way they wish, by coming to school in non- uniform – but with a celebration of success theme.

That could mean your Leicester city kit; it could mean a space link in celebration of Tim Peak’s success. It could be someone from the past, it could be someone from any walk of life. It could be that you wear your own sporting clothing or that linked to something you feel you can celebrate as success!  The theme is a celebration of success, so let’s get together to celebrate!

So time to take a moment and think – what would you celebrate, who would you celebrate and who inspires you through their own success?

Our assembly on Friday will finish with one great celebration - we look forward to it!
