Today we have been joining together to raise funds for Children in Need, by having a non uniform day. Our assembly helped us to reflect on the excellent work that the charity does and to consider the difference that everyone can make by just giving a little.
All of this built on our assembly theme of the week, which has led us to the final part of our journey with Moses. The giving of the ten commandments is a significant part of the Old Testament, something which Jesus summed up in the following words:
Loving you neighbour is what Children in Need is all about, a great practical example of putting this command into practice. Something the whole school joined together for today.
Our morning started with our normal wake and shake activity lead by Mrs B, which got us into the groove for the day.
