Today we all experienced the solar eclipse via live web cam
feeds in the classrooms, the use of pin hole cameras and just by being still
and quiet outside to notice the changes in the atmosphere around us. 
The event
has produced much excitement and certainly led to many opportunities to develop
children’s knowledge and understanding of our solar system. This has included a greater
understanding of the difference between an eclipse and a ellipse
and many other different interpretations and understandings as well!
