Creative witing across KS1
A walk around the classrooms today found our year 1 children developing their writing skills in so many different ways.
Instructions on how to draw a dragon - make sure you get the tail in the right place!
Helping the animals sort out a very lazy farmer! Writing a diary about the adventures of stick man, as well as some wonderful character descriptions!

Kings and queens in KS1
A wonderful display of art work linked to the theme of Kings and Queens can be seen in our KS1 corridor. It has been greatly admired by parents attending our spring term meetings this week.
Year 4 and the Egyptians
A very impressive Egyptian sarcophagus has appeared in one of our year 4 classrooms and inside a very real looking mummy! The year group have really enjoyed their learning linked to the Egyptians and are now preparing for their next design technology project, linked to their study of a class novel - hence the pile of materials on the classroom side. What this will become may have something to do with a little group of people who tend to borrow things!
